Cabaret Voltaire take centre stage in a new issue of Electronic Sound, accompanied by an exclusive seven-inch featuring live recordings of ‘Nag Nag Nag’ and ‘Spies In The Wires’. The single marks the first physical release from the recently reformed group.
Across a 20-page cover feature, the magazine follows Stephen Mallinder and Chris Watson from Sheffield to London and Brighton, documenting three live shows and reflecting on the legacy of the band they formed with the late Richard H Kirk more than five decades ago.
Elsewhere, the issue features interviews with Peaches, Apparat, Cultural Amnesia, Mandy, Indiana, Miss Grit, Brigitte Fontaine, Xylitol, Borokov Borokov and Isa Gordon, alongside Deb Grant and the Library of the Occult label.
