Primal Scream – Screamadelica
Black Vinyl 180g LP x 2 (Remastered by Primal Scream and Kevin Shields)
Originally released in 1991 and sandwiched between 2 other benchmark era defining albums 'The Stone Roses', 1989 and 'Definitely Maybe', 1994. Screamadelica was Primal Scream's third album and seemed to capture the spirit of the time in abundance in 1991 more than ever, creating their very own Acid House/Rock and Roll/Psychedelic Opus with the mercurial talent of Andrew Weatherall at the controls for much of the studio mixing. The album was critically and commercially well received and also gained them the first ever Mercury Music Prize back in the day. The album still sounds as fresh as a daisy today and was as essential in the 1990's as it is now.
"Gonna dance to the music all night long
Gettin' high, gettin' happy, gettin' gone
Gonna dance to the music all night long
Gettin' up, gettin' down, gonna get it on"
