Hard to believe this was first released in February 1977 in the U.S. and hit the shelves in March here in the U.K. so ahead of it's time, a benchmark, an inspiration to many that followed in it's wake. The guitar interplay of Richard Lloyd and Tom Verlaine still packs a punch, coming all the way from the iconic CBGB's to widespread critical acclaim. Certainly one of the greatest albums of this era and still regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time full stop.
