Rubber Soul arrived as somewhat of a foundation stone for the rest of their career as the studio came more and more into it's own, experimentation was at the fore and touring was become a chore. Tracks such as Nowhere Man and Norwegian Wood really pushed the boundaries at the time and surprised their fanbase in equal measure, as their next album, the seminal Revolver wasn't too far away.
