19.10.24 - NATIONAL ALBUM DAY LTD. BLACK ICE VINYL LP

At the end of their US tour in June 1985 The Sisters of Mercy effectively split up. Returning in November 1987 with Floodland (UK #9), and still aided by the trusty Doktor Avalanche, Eldritch hired former Gun Club and Fur Bible bassist Patricia Morrison to complete the new line-up. Featuring the hit singles This Corrosion (UK #7), Dominion (UK #13) and Lucretia My Reflection (UK #20), production duties were shared with none other than famed Meat Loaf writer Jim Steinman.

Floodland is available for National Album Day on black ice galaxy vinyl for a limited run.
