Originally released in 2007, Wilco's sixth studio album was critically well received and commercially one of their most successful albums to date. Containing one of the bands now perennial standout tracks 'Impossible Germany', a fan favourite and often one of the highlights of any Wilco gig. The guitar interplay, interwoven between Jeff Tweedy and Nels Cline often extends beyond the 6 minute studio track into a magnum opus of epic proportions. Sky Blue Sky is often cited as being one of the best albums of 2007 and certainly considered in the top five best albums in Wilco's impressive discography.
